He ratified their spiritual doubts and offered the greatest of all divine grandha (Book containing special Mantras). The member of the family who has received mantropadesa (divine instruction from the senior chief priest of the family) still follows this code of poojas advised by the Sun God.

In memory of a divine design that took place centuries before, each member of this family tags the word 'Suryan' in front of his name. The Mana also rose to fame as 'Surya Kaladi Mana' henceforth, with the golden rays of the great sun God embracing a tradition of rarity. Poojas which demand spotless accuracy, great learning and uncompromising Upasanas are held here.
